First Class Graduate Thanks Gov. Buni for Automatic Appointment

A first class graduate of Physics from Yobe State University, Surayya Muhammad Kabir, has expressed appreciation to Yobe State Governor, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni,  for granting her an automatic appointment.

Surayya made the commendation on Friday in Damaturu while presenting her letter of appointment to the governor, describing the gesture as a great honour to her and her family.

She said the appointment had further motivated her to contribute meaningfully to the development of education in the state and to serve as a source of inspiration to other female students.

Responding, Gov. Buni congratulated Surayya on her outstanding academic achievement, noting that her first class degree had earned her the automatic employment.

The governor described her as a role model for girls across the state, adding that her success reflected the positive impact of the girl-child education programme being implemented by his administration.

“You are an excellent ambassador of the girl-child education programme in the state. Others should emulate this excellent feat,” the governor said.

Gov. Buni reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the development of education in Yobe State, stressing that access to education would continue to be prioritised.
“We will continue to ensure that no child in Yobe State is denied education due to his or her economic background,” he assured.
