
Nigerian industrialist and philanthropist, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has congratulated the Super Eagles on their impressive victory over Algeria, describing the win as a morale booster that has lifted the spirit of the nation.
In a goodwill message issued on Saturday, Rabiu praised the players’ determination and resilience, assuring them of Nigerians’ unwavering support as they prepare for the semi-final stage of the competition.
To motivate the team ahead of the crucial encounter, Rabiu announced a pledge of 500,000 dollars to the players should they win the semi-final, with an additional 50,000 dollars for every goal scored in the match.
He further disclosed that if the Super Eagles go on to clinch the final, he would reward the team with 1 million dollars, alongside a bonus of 100,000 dollars for each goal scored in the final.
“You have lifted the spirit of the nation, and we proudly cheer you on as you prepare for the semi-finals,” Rabiu said, urging the players to remain focused and committed.
He wished the team continued success, noting that their performance has once again placed Nigeria firmly in the spotlight on the continental stage.
