A statement by the Army on Tuesday said the rescued victim was later identified as Mr Ghali.
According to the statement, investigations revealed that Ghali and another person, Mr Simon Oluchukwu, were abducted on Jan. 11 at Gbise Village, Mbayonga, in Benue State, during which their driver was killed by the kidnappers.
It added that following his rescue, Ghali was immediately debriefed, given necessary medical attention and subsequently reunited with his family.
