The Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA) in Adamawa has removed restrictions on the capture of Fintiri Business Wallet forms, allowing beneficiaries to complete registration at any designated centre across the state.

The Director-General of PAWECA, Dr. Michael Zira, announced the development in a statement issued by the agency’s Information and Media Unit on Tuesday in Yola.

Zira said the new arrangement cancels the previous system that restricted beneficiaries to registration centres located within the local government areas indicated on their application forms.

According to him, beneficiaries can now have their forms captured at any registration centre of their choice, regardless of the local government area earlier selected during the application process.

He explained that the decision was taken to ease the registration process and reduce the challenges faced by applicants.

The PAWECA boss said the policy change would help minimise travel expenses, reduce stress and eliminate delays experienced by beneficiaries seeking to complete their registration.

“With the new arrangement, all forms will be processed without restriction, ensuring wider access to the programme for eligible beneficiaries,” he said.

Zira urged applicants to take advantage of the flexibility by visiting the nearest registration centre with their completed forms and valid means of identification for capturing.

He reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to ensuring seamless implementation of the Fintiri Business Wallet programme and expanding opportunities for residents to benefit from the initiative.

The Fintiri Business Wallet programme is one of the empowerment schemes introduced by the Adamawa State Government to support small businesses and improve livelihoods across the state.
