The State Manager for the 3MTT program initiated a collaborative effort with the Borno State Information and Communication Technology Development Agency (BICTDA) during an advocacy visit on Monday.
The primary objective of the visit was to establish a partnership between the 3MTT program and BICTDA, with a focus on extending the program’s impact to rural communities within the state.
The 3MTT program, aimed at nurturing Nigeria’s technical talent pool to drive the digital economy and elevate the nation’s global standing in skilled talent exportation, seeks to broaden its reach to underserved areas, particularly in rural Borno.
During the visit, the Executive Secretary of BICTDA, Engr. Mohammed Ahmed Kabir Wanori, warmly welcomed the 3MTT Community Manager, Ibrahim El-yakub, and engaged in discussions with the team and board members designate to explore avenues of collaboration.
The talks revolved around strategies to facilitate technical training and resources delivery to rural communities lacking access to such opportunities.
