The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced its membership e-registration exercise in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s internal structure through digital reforms.
The exercise was officially flagged off by Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, and is aimed at providing equal opportunities for party members to register while ensuring a credible, transparent and verifiable membership database.
Speaking at the event, Gov. Kefas described the initiative as a major milestone in promoting fairness, accountability and inclusiveness within the party. He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to the digital registration process and for entrusting state governors with the responsibility of overseeing its implementation nationwide.
According to the governor, the e-registration exercise will eliminate duplication, enhance proper documentation of party members and further position the APC as a progressive and forward-looking political party.
Party officials and members in Wukari welcomed the exercise, expressing optimism that the digital registration process would strengthen unity, improve coordination and enhance the party’s structures at all levels.
The APC said the membership e-registration exercise would be extended to other local government areas of Taraba State in the coming days as part of the statewide rollout.
