
The Federal Polytechnic Mubi has matriculated more than 3,000 students into various programmes of the institution.
The Rector, Dr Abdulrahman Aspita Ishaka, urged the newly admitted students to remain focused, disciplined and committed to their academic pursuits.
He congratulated the students on securing admission into the institution and advised them to make good use of available academic and technical resources to achieve success in their chosen fields.
Also speaking, the Council Chairman, Dr Obawale Adebisi, emphasised the importance of skills acquisition and technological knowledge in addressing contemporary challenges.
Adebisi urged staff members to provide the necessary guidance and support to enable students realise their ambitions and become self-reliant after graduation.
The Emir of Mubi, Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu, who was represented by Abubakar Mahmoud Wanbai Madakin Mubi, commended the institution for its commitment to academic excellence and pledged continued royal support.
The Registrar, Mr Andrew Istifanus Bindu, later invited the Rector to formally declare the ceremony closed, marking the successful conclusion of the matriculation exercise.
The event signalled the commencement of academic activities for the newly admitted students in the 2025/2026 academic session.
