The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has opened its recruitment portal, inviting suitably qualified Nigerians to apply for various vacant positions at its Nigeria National Office.
The council announced that interested applicants can submit their applications online through its official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.waec.com.ng.
According to information released on the portal, candidates are required to visit the vacancy page to review the list of available positions and carefully study the qualifications and requirements for each category before applying.
WAEC advised applicants to click the “View Details” option for their preferred vacancy and then select the “Apply for this position” button to begin the application process.
The council explained that new users must first register on the platform by creating an account, after which a verification code would be sent to the email address provided during registration.
It added that applicants must verify their accounts using the code before logging in to complete and submit their applications.
WAEC further urged candidates to check the available fields of specialisation for each category and ensure they meet all requirements before submission to avoid disqualification.
The council also provided an official email channel, recruitment@waec.org.ng, for enquiries and complaints related to the recruitment process.
WAEC noted that the recruitment exercise is aimed at strengthening manpower at its Nigeria National Office to enhance the conduct of examinations across English-speaking West African countries.
