
The All Progressives Congress in Adamawa State has elected a new State Executive Committee to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.
The newly elected chairman, Alhaji Hamza Alhaji Bello, will lead the executive alongside Dr Raymond D. Chidama as Deputy State Chairman and Mustapha Atiku Ribadu as Secretary.
Other members of the executive include Bature Moses as Assistant Secretary, Bello Baballo as Zonal Vice Chairman (Central), Steven Doma as Zonal Vice Chairman (North), and Umar Sahid as Zonal Vice Chairman (South).
Barr. Abba Mamman emerged as State Legal Adviser, with Barr. Ishaku Y. Daniel serving as Assistant Legal Adviser, while Hassan Dabuto was elected Treasurer and Ahmadu Dahiru as Assistant Treasurer.
Also elected were Yahaya Hammanjulde as Financial Secretary and Jika Bapetel as Assistant Financial Secretary, alongside Sale Musa Shelleng as Organising Secretary and Abdullahi Kawu as Assistant Organising Secretary.
Victor Dogo was elected Publicity Secretary, assisted by Hamisu Mijinyawa, while Isa Muhammed Bagalci emerged Welfare Secretary and Sani Usman Arabo as Assistant Welfare Secretary.
Obed Shedarck was elected Auditor, with Cletus Buba Yuguda as Assistant Auditor, while Gloria Istifanus emerged Women Leader and Hauwa Moh’d Jingi as Assistant Women Leader.
Dedan Clifford was elected State Youth Leader, with Idris Tela as Assistant Youth Leader, while Ibrahim Alhassan emerged Special Leader for the Physically Challenged.
Other officials include Aminu Madawaki as Zonal Youth Leader (Central), Iliya Andrew Dukwa as Zonal Youth Leader (North), Gentle Pharis as Zonal Youth Leader (South), Aishatu Abdulraman as Zonal Woman Leader (Central), Hasiya Abubakar as Zonal Woman Leader (North), and Zainab Bello as Zonal Woman Leader (South).
The ex-officio members elected into the committee are Yayaji Audu Gombi, Fiknan Elson Dolum, Babagida Majekano, and Bello Mahmuda Kwacham.
Party officials said the newly constituted executive is expected to provide leadership, strengthen internal party structures, and coordinate political activities across the state over the next four years.
