The Bauchi State Civil Service Commission (BSCSC) has recently announced the promotion of 84 senior civil servants in a bid to recognize their dedication and hard work.
This decision was communicated through a statement released to the press on Saturday by Saleh Umar, the Commission’s information officer.
The promotions were the result of discussions held during the 11th plenary session of the Commission on March 14, 2024.
The statement highlighted that the promotions stemmed from recommendations put forward by various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
Specifically, the State Independent Electoral Commission, Health Management Board, Debt Management Office, and State Sports Council nominated a total of 84 officers for promotion, following a rigorous interview process.
Chairing the session, Alh. Abubakar Usman IION urged the newly promoted civil servants to maintain high standards, meet expectations, and enhance their performance in carrying out their official duties.
