The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has put forward the name of Hammanjubba Gatugel to the Adamawa State House of Assembly as a nominee for the position of Commissioner representing Mayo Belwa constituency.
Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, the Speaker of the State Assembly, confirmed the submission of the governor’s letter on Wednesday and subsequently instructed the clerk to arrange for the nominee’s screening during the next plenary session.
Hammanjubba Gatugel, the nominee, currently serves as the President of the National Association of Local Governments Employees in Adamawa State.
His nomination reflects a significant step in the state’s governance and administration, as he prepares to undergo the screening process for the esteemed position of Commissioner.
