Gombe State has marked the 5th anniversary of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s administration with a landmark symposium, celebrating the significant achievements and milestones under his leadership.
Former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola, was the lead speaker at the symposium, where he praised Governor Yahaya’s administration for its impactful policies, programmes, and projects.
Fashola commended the governor’s visionary leadership, citing the Development Agenda for Gombe (DEVAGOM) and the administration’s achievements in road construction, infrastructural development, agriculture, and healthcare.
Fashola highlighted the construction of the Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park, which is expected to create 10,000 direct jobs and 100,000 indirect jobs, as well as the upgrade of primary health care facilities and the overhaul of the state’s specialist hospital.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya presented his administration’s progress and challenges, detailing his mission to elevate Gombe State by meeting the people’s needs.
He emphasized his campaign promises were driven by a thorough needs assessment in critical sectors and shared his vision for the state’s future.
The symposium featured a panel discussion with experts providing insights and feedback on the government’s successes and challenges, including infrastructure development, healthcare initiatives, education reforms, and economic growth.
