At the sidelines of the Foreign Investment Network Summit and Forbes Best of Africa Award held in New York USA, the Borno State Government struck major deals on FDI, tourism and digital transformations that will catapult Borno to higher pedestals across economic sectors in the State.
Governor Zulum who was represented by Dr Mairo Mandara, Chief Advicer and Coordinator of the Borno State Agency for Humanitarian Affairs, Partnerships and Sustainable Development, expressed a firm commitment to leveraging global partnerships and foreign direct investments to pull the State out of poverty, disaster and stunted development.
As the State recovers from the Boko Haram insurgency and recent flood disaster, ongoing investments in disaster recovery, development and peacebuilding are yielding dividends.
