In a concerted effort to combat rising kidnapping activities, the 6 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, under Sector 3 of Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS), conducted a carefully planned operation targeting high-risk areas within Lau Local Government Area (LGA) of Taraba State.
The operation, executed on 12 November, spanned the general regions of Maraban Abare, Bomanda, and Karamuke village.
During the operation, troops apprehended Suleiman Ahmad, a notorious suspect residing in Bomanda village.
