Police Arrest Three for Vandalizing Transformer in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested three suspects for allegedly vandalizing and stealing electrical transformer cables in Wuro Dole, a community supplying power to parts of Girei and Wuro Dole areas.

The suspects, identified as Rabiu Ali (28), Muhammad Musa (42), and Abubakar Usman (18), were apprehended on Feb. 6 following credible intelligence. Police said three other accomplices remain at large.

Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris, Psc(+), commended the Girei Divisional Police Officer and his team for their swift response. He directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police (CID) to take over the case and track down the fleeing suspects.

Morris urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities around electrical installations. The suspects will be charged to court upon completion of investigations.
