Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, travelled to Kano during the week to personally offer condolences to the grieving family of late Alhaji Aminu Dantata, an industrialist and revered philanthropist.
Zulum earlier extended his condolences in a statement, stating that “Nigeria lost a hero and Borno has lost a dependable father. Dantata was a leader in business, but his most lasting legacy will come from his generosity and philanthropy.”
“Alhaji Dantata’s life was a testament to an unwavering dedication to philanthropy and community development. His remarkable gesture during last year’s devastating flood, where he extended significant support to affected communities in Borno State exemplified his genuine compassion and commitment to humanity. Such acts of kindness and solidarity will always be remembered and cherished.”
“We mourn this great loss which has left an indelible mark on the lives of many. May Allah (SWT) grant his soul eternal rest and provide strength and solace to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
“Once again, I extend our heartfelt condolences and pray that Allah forgives his shortcomings and grants him paradise.”
