
The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a total sum of N2.001 trillion July 2025 revenue to the Federal Government, States and Local Government Councils.
The revenue was shared at the August 2025 FAAC meeting held in Abuja.
A communiqué issued by FAAC on Friday indicated that the N2.001 trillion total distributable revenue comprised distributable statutory revenue of N1.282 trillion, distributable Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue of N640.610 billion, Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) revenue of N37.601 billion and Exchange Difference of N39.745 billion.
It stated that the total gross revenue available for July was N3.836 trillion. Deductions for cost of collection stood at N152.681 billion while total transfers, interventions, refunds and savings amounted to N1.683 trillion.
According to the communiqué, gross statutory revenue of N3.070 trillion was received in July, lower than the N3.485 trillion recorded in June by N415.108 billion.
Similarly, gross VAT revenue stood at N687.940 billion in July, higher than the N678.165 billion available in June by N9.775 billion.
From the N2.001 trillion distributable revenue, the Federal Government received N735.081 billion, State Governments received N660.349 billion, and Local Government Councils received N485.039 billion.
The communiqué added that N120.359 billion, representing 13 per cent of mineral revenue, was shared to oil-producing states as derivation revenue.
It noted that Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), Oil and Gas Royalty, EMTL and Excise Duty increased significantly in the month under review, while VAT and Import Duty recorded marginal increases.
Companies Income Tax (CIT) and CET Levies, however, recorded decreases.
