Adamawa Awards N855 Million Contract for Nigerian Law School Yola

The Adamawa State Executive Council has on Wednesday awarded a contract worth N855,247,976.81 for the construction of four hostel blocks at the Nigerian Law School in Yola.

The project, expected to be completed within 12 months, aims to address accommodation challenges faced by the increasing number of students at the school, which has grown from 200 to over 400 since its establishment in 2013.

Commissioner of Housing, Abdullahi Prambe, emphasized that the intervention reflects Governor’s concern for the school, the only law school in the North-East region.

Commissioner of Justice, Barr. Afraimu Jingi, praised the Governor’s decision, noting that the new hostels are crucial for students from other states.

The state government has also addressed water scarcity issues at the school through the Ministry of Water Resources.

The contract has been awarded to three contractors, and the project is expected to enhance the learning experience for law students during their mandatory one-year program.
