The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission has debunked rumours alleging the allocation of recruitment slots to political office holders in the ongoing recruitment exercise.
This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday in Yola by the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Mr. Abubakar Umar Maiha.
The Commission described the claims as false and misleading, stating that no individual or political office holder had been granted preferential slots.
“The Commission categorically states that no recruitment slots have been allocated to any individual or political office holder. These rumours are entirely false and misleading,” the statement said.
It added that the recruitment process remains transparent and strictly merit-based, in line with the directive of Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
“The integrity of this exercise remains a top priority, and all qualified applicants will be given a fair opportunity,” Maiha said.
He also assured the public that details regarding the next phase of the recruitment process would be communicated in due course.
