Adamawa Emirate Announces New District Heads for Hong LGA

The Adamawa Emirate Council has on Friday announced new District Heads for the 3 Districts whose seats were declared vacant as a result of deaths of the former District Heads.

The selection, which took place at the Hong LGA Secretariat in Hong to fill in the vacant tools of Hildi,Uba and Gaya districts was conducted in a free and fair manner and supervised by the Galadima Adamawa,Alhaji Mustapha Aminu who represented Lamido of Adamawa,HRH Alh Mohammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha.

The candidates who emerged victorious from the selection are Abubakar Yusuf for Hildi, Suleiman Yahaya for Uba, and Adamu Suleiman for Gaya. Addressing the winners, the Galadima of Adamawa advised them to be deligent, loyal and fair in the discharge of their responsibilities.
They were also reminded of the peace Enterprise of the present administration and advised them to key into the peace initiatives of the Fintiri Government.

The Chairman of Hong Local Government Council Usman Innuwa Wa’aganda,who the hosted and ensured the process was successful also congratulated the newly elected district heads who lost in the selection to accept their destiny as guided by God Almighty.

He expressed his gratitude to Gov Ahmadu Fintiri for his support and respect for the traditional institutions.

In his remarks, Abubakar Yusuf the new District Head of Hildi, who spoke on behalf others thanked the Emirate Council, the Adamawa State Government, and the Hong Local Government for the opportunity bestowed upon them and assured that they will justify the confidence reposed in them.

Many dignitaries including Walid Adamawa, Alhaji Aminu Abdulkadir, Wakili Alkalai, Justice Nathan Musa, Madawakin Adamawa, Usman Marafa, heads of security agencies in Hong Local Government, and many others.
