Adamawa, Gombe Governors Lead Special Jumma’at Prayers To Mark 5th Anniversary In Office

Governors Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State and Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State have led special Jumma’at prayers to commemorate their 5th year anniversaries in office.

In Gombe, Governor Inuwa Yahaya joined the Emir of Gombe, Alh. (Dr.) Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, and top government officials for a special prayer session at the Gombe Central Mosque.

The Governor expressed gratitude to Allah for the achievements recorded during his tenure and appealed for intensified prayers for sustained peace and development in the state.

In Adamawa, Governor Fintiri attended a special Juma’at prayer at the Aggah Islamic Center in Yola, accompanied by lawmakers, the Secretary to the State Government, Commissioners, and other government officials. The Chief Imam emphasized the importance of praying for the leadership and encouraged citizens to support and respect the government.

Both Governors acknowledged the significance of the prayers in seeking divine guidance and protection as they strive to deliver good governance and development to their respective states.

The prayer sessions precede the upcoming fifth-anniversary celebrations of both Governors on May 29, 2024.
