Adamawa Gov Charges ANAN On Transparency, Accountability In Resource Management

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has charged members of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) in Adamawa to exhibiting transparency and accountability in the management of public resources.

The Governor who gave the charge when he granted audience to the state leadership of the association in the Government House, Yola Tuesday, appreciates the conducts of ANAN in the state.

Governor Umaru Fintiri noted with happiness that the members of ANAN in Adamawa stand for excellence and integrity which he described as the foundational cornerstones of his administration

He promised continued support to ANAN in the state, asking the members to maintain the spirit of prudence, eschew corrupt tendencies and ensure effective management of resources at their disposal.

Earlier in his remarks, the State Chairman of ANAN, Mr Titus Obadia congratulated Governor Fintiri on his recent well deserved victory at the supreme Court, affirming the trust of the electorate bestowed on him.

As an association, the Chairman said the members of ANAN in the state will remain committed to contribute to the advancement of Adamawa and saluted Governor Fintiri for his considerable developmental strides

He informed that Adamawa is set to host this year’s Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) of ANAN from first to third July in Yola and appeals for Governor Fintiri’s support towards holding a successful event
