Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has presided over the swearing-in of Alhaji Hamajumba Gatugel as the substantive Commissioner of Transport and Honourable Justina Obadiah Nkom as Special Adviser to the Governor.
The ceremony, which took place in the Council Chambers of the Government House on Friday, was administered by the State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Afraimu Jingi.
Governor Fintiri congratulated the duo and expressed confidence in their ability to deliver on their assigned mandates, wishing them a successful tenure.
In his response, Commissioner Gatugel, a seasoned unionist, pledged to bring his wealth of experience to support the Governor and the government in achieving success. He replaced Musa Mahmud Kalamu, who won the seat of the member representing Mayo Belwa constituency in the State House of Assembly.
