Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Friday approved the appointment of thirteen new permanent secretaries out of sixty-four candidates who sat for the exam conducted by ASCON.
In a statement released by the New Media aide to the Governor, Muhammad B. Tukur, those appointed to fill the existing vacancies are Mundi Musa Ibrahim from Guyuk; Adama Mamman, Hong; Dogara Musa, Hong; Fabian Wambai, Jada; Oliver Gani, Lamurde; and Abubakar Umar, Maiha.
Others include Zira Bubanani Mathias, Michika; Kwaji Duguri, Michika; Ruth Huram, Michika; Makallan Akila, Song; Tanimu Buba, Yola North; Heidi Edgar Amos, Yola South and Muhammad Amin Suleiman, Yola South.
Governor Umaru Fintiri while announcing the exam results said the process has not been compromised.
He said any local government area that has not passed will not qualify as the government cannot lower the standard of the exam.
The State Head of Civil Service, Pharmacist Isah Shehu Ardo thanked the civil servants for accepting the exam as a credible selection process.
