Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has flagged off a multi-billion naira power project to supply electricity to five Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state.
The affected LGAs are Song, Gombi, Mubi, and Gulak, which will be connected to the national grid through a 132KV double circuit breaker transmission line.
The project is a collaborative effort between the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) and the Adamawa State Government.
Governor Fintiri described the project as part of his administration’s efforts to deliver good governance and bring dividends of democracy closer to the people.
The project is expected to be completed within the shortest possible time to enable residents benefit from the huge dividends.
This is one of the laudable projects executed by Governor Fintiri within the first year of his second tenure.
