Adamawa Govt Opens Applications for 2026 Special Female Scholarship

The Adamawa State Scholarship Trust Fund (ASSTF), Yola, has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for the Adamawa State Government 2026 Special Female Scholarship.

This is contained in a public notice issued by the management of the Trust Fund, which stated that the scholarship scheme is aimed at promoting access to higher education for female students from the state.

According to the notice, interested and eligible candidates are required to apply online through the Trust Fund’s official portal at www.asstfy.ad.gov.ng/apply between Jan. 14 and Jan. 28, 2026.

The management outlined the eligibility criteria to include that applicants must be indigenes of Adamawa State and must have obtained a minimum of nine credits in their 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or National Examination Council (NECO) O’ Level results.

It further stated that applicants must have completed their secondary school education in a government-owned secondary school and must have scored the prescribed Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) cut-off mark for their chosen course.
Eligible candidates must also have secured admission into a government-owned university.

The Trust Fund advised applicants to ensure that all information provided during the application process is accurate, noting that only qualified candidates would be considered for the scholarship.
