The Adamawa State Government has announced the opening of its web portal for the 2026 local scholarship applications for indigenous students across tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
The Adamawa State Scholarship Trust Fund (ASSTF), Yola, in a statement on Monday, said the decision was in compliance with the directives of Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
According to the statement, the portal will be open from Sept. 12 to Sept. 22, 2025, for eligible applicants.
It said only new intakes in the following categories would be considered: NCE I, ND I, HND I, 100 level, 200 level Direct Entry (DE), and newly admitted postgraduate students.
The statement advised eligible applicants to visit the portal at: www.asstfy.ad.gov.ng/apply to complete their applications.
It added that the scheme was part of government’s commitment to supporting the educational pursuit of Adamawa students.
The statement was signed by the management of the ASSTF.
