The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended no fewer than 49 suspected “Shila” boys including 2 women.
A statement by the PPRO, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, on Wednesday said that the Command’s recent operation led to the arrest of the suspects.
SP Nguroje said that the operation at the identified criminal hideouts and blackspots within the State Capital including areas around Geriyo Junction, Doubeli Junction, Jambutu Aso Rock, Behind Ramat College,Total Flyover led to the arrest of 49 suspects including two women.
“The Adamawa State Police Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris, assures members of the public, that the Command will continue to employ all necessary resources and strategies to sustain the fight against “Shila” gangsterism”, he added
The statement urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious movement around there neighbourhood.
