The Adamawa State Emirate Council Hong District has conferred on the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley the title of Jagaban Hong.
The information was contained in a release by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker Mr Hyellamada Bernard on Tuesday.
The message reads:
“The District head of Hong and Danmaliki Adamawa Alhaji Umar B. Mahmoud has conferred on the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley a title of JAGABAN HONG.
The conferment was contain in a letter from the district head of Hong signed by the secretary Mallam Mohammed Kabir Jalo said the conferment is in recognition of his contribution towards the plight of the people of Hong and beyond.
