Adamawa Students Union Commends Governor Fintiri For Commitment To Education

The National Union of Adamawa State Students (NUADSS) has commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his unwavering commitment to education and students’ welfare, describing him as a student-friendly leader.

Speaking to journalists on Thursday in Yola, NUADSS National President, Comrade Aliyu Ibrahim Malkohi, highlighted the governor’s remarkable impact on the education sector since assuming office.

He lauded Fintiri for reviving education from primary to tertiary levels, particularly through his free education initiative and the payment of WAEC and NECO fees for students.

The student leader also praised the prompt payment of scholarships to Adamawa students in various tertiary institutions across the country, noting that the gesture has eased the financial burden on many students and their families.

Reaffirming their support for the “Fresh Air” administration, NUADSS pledged to continue advocating for students’ interests and working with the government to further enhance education in the state.

In the spirit of Ramadan, the union urged Adamawa students to pray for the success of Governor Fintiri’s administration and the continued progress of the state.
