The management of the Adamawa State Agribusiness Support Programme ADAS-P on Monday received the leadership of different cattle dealers associations at its office.
During the interactive meeting, an agreement was reached and reasons for moving the Credit Guarantee Scheme to standard Micro-finance Bank Limited were deliberated and finalised with clear understanding.
Speaking during the meeting, the Chairman Board of ADAS Alh. Kashim Mohammed Njidda (Dallatu Ganye) assured them of doing all it takes to ensure the program starts in good time and line with its terms and conditions.
The board chairman added they decided to switch to Micro-finance Bank Limited because of its easy access to ADAS and the beneficiaries as they have many branches across the state.
He thanked them for their patience, resilience, understanding and cooperation at all times, and urged them to maintain the tempo.
In a remark, the Chief Operating Officer of the programme Mal. Yunusa Ibrahim Gafai, said the development is for the good of all.
Gafai said they already reached an agreement with the Micro-finance Bank and are working round the clock to ensure the success of the programme.
On his part, the chairman Vibrant Cattle Dealers Association Mubi Alh. Rabi’u Hassan, challenged ADAS to conclude all arrangements before contacting them and call them to be proactive at all times.
He said “I am after the success of my members to benefit even without having any benefit on my site”
Similarly, The chairman of Amana Cattle Dealers Association Alh. Ja’afaru Hamman called on the management of ADAS-P to redouble their efforts and ensure the program kick-starts soon to avoid unnecessary accusing.
Contributing, the chairman cattle market Ngurore Mal. Bamanga Salihu expressed their readiness to give their maximum support and cooperation for the benefit of all.
