Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has on Thursday launched the second phase of the Fintiri Business Wallet, distributing ₦50,000 to 10,000 women across the state.
According to Muhammad B. Tukur, SSA New Media to the Governor, Governor Fintiri emphasized the importance of empowering women in the state, highlighting the program’s role in fostering MSME growth and alleviating poverty (1).
He also announced the acquisition of 31 buses for tertiary institutions and plans to create job opportunities following the minimum wage reconciliation.
Dignitaries, including Hon. Bathiya Wesley, Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, commended the Fintiri administration’s historic empowerment initiatives, citing their impact on reducing crime rates through strategic poverty alleviation programs.
