APC Jere Chair Visits Zulum Aide, Pledges Total Support Ahead of Elections

The newly elected Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jere Local Government Area, Hon. Ali Mohammed Burgaye, has led a high-level unity visit to Hon. Abdulrahman Ahmad Bundi, pledging total support for Governor Babagana Umara Zulum ahead of forthcoming elections.

Burgaye paid the courtesy visit on Thursday evening at Bundi’s residence, accompanied by the party’s Secretary, Atom Mohammed Tom, and other executive members as part of ongoing consultations aimed at strengthening cohesion within the party.

The visit, according to the chairman, was designed to foster unity among key stakeholders in line with the development-driven vision of the Borno governor.

Addressing party faithful during the meeting, Burgaye stressed the need for solidarity and collective responsibility among APC members in Jere, urging them to close ranks and work as a united family to secure victory for all party candidates in the forthcoming polls.

He reaffirmed his commitment to mobilising grassroots support and ensuring the continued dominance of the APC in the local government area.

The chairman also expressed appreciation to Gov. Zulum for what he described as steadfast leadership and guidance, reiterating his loyalty to the governor as the recognized leader of the party in the state.

Responding, Bundi, who serves as Senior Technical Assistant to the Governor on Digital Media, commended the chairman’s unifying initiative and described the visit as timely.

He pledged his total loyalty and support to Gov. Zulum and the APC, assuring that he would work diligently for the party’s growth and electoral success within Jere and beyond.

The meeting ended with renewed assurances of unity, mutual respect and a shared resolve to consolidate the gains of the APC across the local government and the state at large.
