APC Membership Revalidation Begins in Yobe as Gov. Buni Registers First

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday commenced its membership revalidation exercise in Yobe State, with Gov. Mai Mala Buni becoming the first to be registered in the state.

According to a statement by the Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed, issued on Tuesday in Damaturu, Gov. Buni was officially issued registration number 001, marking the formal take-off of the party’s revalidation process in the state.

The exercise was monitored by the Yobe State Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, alongside other state party officials, who supervised the process to ensure compliance with party guidelines.

The statement said the membership revalidation exercise was aimed at updating the party’s register, strengthening its internal structure, and enhancing grassroots participation ahead of future political activities.

It added that the exercise would continue across wards and local government areas of the state.
