Apply: Adamawa Opens Scholarship for Overseas Master’s Programmes

The Adamawa State Scholarship Trust Fund, Yola, has invited applications from qualified indigenes of the state for Master’s Degree programmes in select fields of study abroad.

A statement issued by the management of the fund on Friday in Yola said the gesture was in line with the directive of Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to promote human capital development in the state.

The statement said the scholarships would cover studies in institutions across North Eastern Canada and Australia University for Engineering and Health Care courses, as well as universities in Uzbekistan for Mining, Geological Sciences and Technology.

According to the fund, the available fields of study include Information and Communication Technology (ICT)/Artificial Intelligence, Geology and Mining Engineering, Agriculture, Engineering, Architecture, and Medical Sciences.

It stated that interested applicants must be Adamawa State indigenes, aged between 20 and 33 years, and possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of First Class or Second-Class Upper Division (GPA 3.50).

The fund said applications should be submitted through its official website: http://www.asstfy.ad.gov.ng/apply.

It added that the online application portal would open on Nov. 3, 2025, and close on Nov. 10, 2025.

“Screening of applicants will commence on Nov. 11 and end on Nov. 18, 2025. All applicants will undergo a Computer-Based Test (CBT), and details will be communicated in due course,” the statement said.

It urged eligible candidates to take advantage of the opportunity to further their education and contribute to the state’s development.
