Apply: Nigeria Arabic Village Announces Vacancies For Academic, Non-teaching Staff

The Nigeria Arabic Language Village (NALV), Ngala, an Inter-University Centre for Arabic Studies, has announced vacancies for qualified candidates to fill various academic and non-teaching positions in the institution.

The announcement, contained in a statement issued by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, invited applications for teaching and administrative positions across several departments and directorates.

According to the advertisement, academic positions available include Lecturer I, Lecturer II, Assistant Lecturer, and Graduate Assistant in Arabic Studies and Linguistics/Arabic.

Applicants for these positions are expected to possess relevant degrees from recognised universities, alongside evidence of teaching and research experience, scholarly publications, and the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.

Non-teaching vacancies are also open in the Departments of Works and Physical Planning, Library Services, Procurement, Health Services, Computer Centre, and the Language Laboratory Centre.

Positions advertised include Assistant Technical Officer, Assistant Library Officer, Procurement Officer, Architect, Medical Officer, Medical Laboratory Scientist, Programmer/Systems Analyst, Data Processing Officer, Language Laboratory Officer, Language Laboratory Technician, and Language Laboratory Attendant.

The statement added that conditions of service, salaries, and allowances for all positions would be in line with those applicable in Nigerian public universities and tertiary institutions.
