The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially opened its online recruitment portal for the 2025 intake into the four paramilitary agencies under the Federal Ministry of Interior.

According to the Board, the application portal opened on Monday, July 14, and will run for a period of three weeks.

The recruitment process is open to eligible Nigerian citizens who meet the stated requirements. Below is a step-by-step guide for interested applicants:

Step 2: Confirm Eligibility Requirements

Citizenship:

Must be Nigerian by birth.

Age Limit:

Must be between 18 and 35 years old.

Height Requirement:

Male: Minimum 1.65 metres, with chest size not less than 0.87 metres.

Female: Minimum 1.60 metres.

Character & Health Conditions:

Must have no criminal record.

Must be medically and physically fit.

Step 3: Review Educational Qualifications

Applicants must possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) with at least 4-5 credits, including English and Mathematics.

Candidates with additional qualifications such as NCE, OND, HND, B.Sc., or higher degrees in law, engineering, medicine, technical trades, or other relevant disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Step 4: Choose Only One Agency to Apply For

Applicants are advised to select only one of the following agencies:

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)

Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)

Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS)

Federal Fire Service (FFS)

Note: Multiple applications across agencies will lead to automatic disqualification.
