Bauchi Govt Postpones Key Events Due To Unavoidable Circumstances

The Bauchi State government has on Monday announced the postponement of several high-profile events, including the 10th North East Governors’ Forum Meeting (NEGF), the 15th North East Joint Domestic Trade Fair, and the official commissioning of the New Government House, Bauchi.

The events, initially scheduled for May 4-6, 2024, have been rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the government’s control.

Additionally, the Ground Breaking Ceremony of the Novel Bauchi flyover and the Launching of the Accelerated Senior Secondary School Education Programme, also slated for the same period, have been postponed.

In a press release signed by Mukhtar M. Gidado, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, the state government apologized for any inconvenience this may cause and assured the public that new dates for the events will be announced soon.

The government expressed its commitment to upholding the highest standards of organization and effectiveness in service delivery, despite the unforeseen circumstances leading to the postponement. The public has been urged to bear with the government and continue to offer their support.

The new dates for the events will be communicated to the public in due course, and the government is working diligently to ensure their successful execution.
