
The Managing Director of the Bauchi State Urban Water and Sewerage Corporation (BSUWSC), Hajiya Uwani Garba Dagauda, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Commander, Nigerian Army Armour Corps, Major General Obinna Chukwudi Ajunwa, at the Corps Headquarters, Obienu Barracks, Bauchi.
The visit, held on October 23, 2025, was aimed at strengthening the existing partnership between the Corporation and the Nigerian Army Armour Corps, as well as exploring new areas of collaboration to enhance water supply and sanitation within the barracks.
In her remarks, Hajiya Dagauda commended the Nigerian Army for its unwavering commitment to national security, discipline, and service to the nation. She also lauded the cordial working relationship between the Corporation and the Army, stressing the importance of sustained cooperation to ensure efficient water distribution and maintenance of facilities in the barracks.
Responding, Major General Ajunwa appreciated the visit and expressed gratitude to the Managing Director and her team for their dedication to improving public utility services in Bauchi State.
He assured her of the Corps’ continued support for BSUWSC’s initiatives and reaffirmed the Army’s commitment to community development through effective inter-agency collaboration.
Highlights of the visit included the signing of the visitors’ book, presentation of souvenirs, an interactive session, and a group photograph.
