Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, represented by a high powered delegation, on Thursday attended the passing out parade ceremony of the 2022 police constables at the Police training School, Yelwa Bauchi State.
According to a press statement signed by the Information Officer SSG’s Office Joshua Ɗanmalam said “In his goodwill message to the 200 Gombe State indigene who have undergone the rigorous training and passed out successfully, the governor congratulated them and their families, tasking them to be good ambassadors of Gombe State and the nation as they serve their father land as law enforcement agents wishing them the best in their chosen career.
The Inspector General of Police IGP Kayoye Adeolu Egbetokun represented by the Bauchi Commissioner of Police CP Auwal Musa charged the new police constables on professionalism and integrity in the discharged of their duties as the service will not condone any unethical behavior.
Some of the excited constables who spoke to newsmen expressed profound gratitude to Governor Yahaya and Government of Gombe State for supporting them in cash and kind which has greatly led to their successes, assuring of their commitment to serve their country diligently.
Highlight of the event was the inspection of parade by the reviewing officer and CP Bauchi State command, parade march on slow and quick time among others.
The Gombe Government delegation led by Commissioner of Internal Security & Home Affairs Lt. Con. Abdullahi Bello Talasse (rtd) includes; The Permanent Secretary SS&Pol Alhaji Salihu Adamu Sambo, Permanent Secretary Establishment & Service Matters Suleiman Musa Kwami and SSA on Security Matters Yusuf Musa Danbayo.
