The Bank of Industry (BOI) has resumed sending loan offer notifications via Email to staff of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) under its Staff Support Fund programme, following earlier delays.
A staff member confirmed to our correspondent on Monday that they had received an email titled “New Loan Offer Approval | BOI Interventions,” approving a ₦3,000,000 loan and directing them to review the offer on the official online portal.
Several UNIMAID staff had expressed concern over the pause in communication after completing all required documentation and verification processes. The resumption of notifications indicates that BOI has recommenced processing pending applications, raising optimism among staff awaiting disbursement and approval.
