Boko Haram Militant Surrenders To Army Troops In Borno

A member of the notorious terrorist group, Boko Haram, has surrendered to the troops of Operation Hadin Kai in Borno State.

Sajeh Yaga, a militant with the Jamā’at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihād (JAS), surrendered to the troops of 112 Task Force Battalion in Mafa on April 28, 2024.

According to intelligence sources, Yaga sneaked out of the terrorist den in Yale, Sambisa forest, before surrendering.

The surrendered militant came with an AK47 rifle, 4 AK47 magazines, 6 7.62 MM special ammunitions, and 3 Techno mobile phones, among other items. The suspect is currently in military custody for profiling.

The Nigerian Army has been intensifying its operations against Boko Haram in recent times, leading to several successes, including the surrender of many terrorists.
