Borno State has taken a bold step towards using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for sustainable development by presenting a key proposal at the National Council for Communication, Innovation, and Digital Economy meeting in Makurdi on Monday.
The Borno State Information and Communication Technology Development Agency (BICTDA), led by its Executive Secretary, Engr. Mohammed Kabir Wanori FNSE, highlighted how AI could transform agriculture, education, security, and healthcare in the state.
The presentation aligns with Nigeria’s National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy (NDEPS), which focuses on digital infrastructure, literacy, and entrepreneurship to drive growth.
The meeting, attended by stakeholders from across the country, featured peer reviews, courtesy visits, and discussions on shaping Nigeria’s digital future.
