The Borno State Flood Relief Distribution Committee is increasing its verification of households impacted by the recent flooding in Maiduguri and surrounding areas.
The verification process has so far included neighborhoods in Shehuri North, such as Gangamari, Shehu Darman Way, Limanti, IT Street, Bazam/Zaiwatari Street, and Kawar Maila.
Additionally, areas in Shehuri South, including Dumbusmari, Alajiri, Ganye Shida, Lungun Ndalayi, Waziriri, Bulama Tujja, Talbari, Sheriffti, and Lungun Malam Tsalha, have also been assessed.
To ensure comprehensive coverage, more teams have been dispatched to the remaining parts of Shehuri North and Bulabulin ward.
The Chairman of the Committee, Engr Baba Bukar Gujbawu has assured areas yet to be verified to exercise patience as no household will be left out.
