Buni Appoints 261 COYAPO Supporters as Special Assistants

The Governor of Yobe State, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni, has appointed 261 members of the Coalition of Yobe APC Political Organizations (COYAPO) as Special Assistants, in recognition of their loyalty and support to the present administration.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday in Damaturu by Nuhu Adamu, Personal Assistant to the COYAPO Chairman, Babagana Alhaji Modu (Bature Goniri).

According to the statement, the appointments were described as a reward for the commitment, loyalty, and grassroots mobilization efforts of the various support groups under the COYAPO platform.

The Chairman expressed profound appreciation to Governor Buni for the gesture, noting that the appointments reflect the governor’s consistent recognition of political loyalty and inclusive governance.

“This is not only a reward for steadfastness but a clear demonstration that His Excellency values the contributions of grassroots political structures toward the development and progress of Yobe State,” he said.

Modu congratulated the newly appointed Special Assistants and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the governor and the people of the state.

He also assured the Governor of continued support from COYAPO in the collective drive to achieve the administration’s developmental objectives.
