Gov. Mai Mala Buni of Yobe has approved the appointment of Abdullahi Musa Shehu as the acting Head of Service in the state.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement signed by Mamman Mohammed, Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Governor.
Until his appointment, Shehu was the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Works.
The statement described the new acting Head of Service as a seasoned administrator and expressed confidence in his ability to discharge his duties diligently.
Shehu is expected to oversee the coordination of the state’s civil service and ensure the implementation of government policies and reforms across ministries and agencies.
