The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the activation of its recruitment portal for candidates to check their shortlisting status for the 2025 aptitude test.
A statement by the Board on Friday in Abuja said that applicants can now visit the official recruitment portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — to confirm if they have been shortlisted.
The portal also enables candidates to verify their examination venue, date, and time ahead of the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
According to the statement, the move is part of the Board’s commitment to ensuring transparency and efficiency in the recruitment process for the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Fire Service, and Nigerian Correctional Service.
Applicants have been advised to check their status promptly and follow all instructions provided on the portal to avoid disqualification.
The Board further cautioned candidates against engaging third parties or making payments to anyone for assistance, stressing that the recruitment exercise remains free of charge.
For those experiencing challenges accessing the portal, the Board said a step-by-step guide is available on verified online platforms to assist applicants in confirming their status.
