CDCFIB Announces Upcoming CBT Screening for Paramilitary Recruitment

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced plans to conduct a nationwide Computer-Based Test (CBT) for shortlisted applicants into the various paramilitary services under its supervision.

In a public notice dated Oct. 21, 2025, and signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj.-Gen. (Rtd) A.M. Jibril, the CDCFIB advised all applicants to check their application status on the official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.

According to the statement, successful candidates are to verify their test centres, dates, and other details on the portal ahead of the exercise.

The board urged applicants to strictly adhere to official information released through its website and avoid falling victim to scammers.

“The Board wishes to inform the general public that as part of efforts to recruit qualified candidates into the various paramilitary services, the Computer-Based Test screening exercise will hold soon,” the statement read in part.

Applicants were further advised to report to the designated centres at the scheduled time, as failure to appear may lead to disqualification.

The CDCFIB oversees the recruitment processes for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), and Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
