The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring fairness, transparency, and merit in the ongoing recruitment exercise across its services.
A statement by the CDCFIB Training and Development Team in Abuja on Friday said the disqualification of some applicants was based on verified and valid grounds, following a thorough review of submitted applications.
According to the board, reasons for disqualification include failure to meet minimum qualifications, falsification of credentials or personal information, and incomplete or inaccurate application details.
Other reasons listed were lack of required experience, education, or certification; duplicate submissions; unverifiable or inconsistent identity records; poor reference or background checks; and reports from external investigations.
The statement emphasized that only applicants who meet the stipulated requirements will proceed to the next stage of screening and interviews.
It added that the board remains committed to upholding integrity and equal opportunity in its recruitment process to ensure that only qualified and competent candidates are selected for service.
