Chairman Sets Ten-day Transition Period For Traders And Business Owners To Relocate To New Bama Market

The Chairman relocation committee of the New Tashan Bama market, Saina Buba has on Tuesday gave a 10-day transition period from 4th December to 14th December 2023 for all traders and business owners to completely relocate to the new market after which the old market will be demolished.

Saina Buba made the announcement during the official opening of the new market by seeing off vehicles of the National Union of Road Transport leaving the park to various destinations.

Briefing newsmen shortly after the official opening saina Buba said ” On behalf of Governor Zulum we are on this day 5th December 2023 officially opening the new Tashan Bama market for commercial activities this also signifies the official process of closing the old market.

We have transferred all services from the old to the new park by appropriately allocating shops and spaces to all traders, NURTW, and vegetable sellers. To maintain sanitation the committee directed all food vendors to provide dustbins within their business premises and should clear all garbage daily before closing. Strict supervision has been put in place to ensure full compliance Saina Buba Added.
